Yes, the online course is self-paced, which means participants can complete the modules at their own speed, without being tied to fixed lesson times. This flexibility allows you to learn whenever it suits you, making it ideal for busy professionals or those who prefer to spread their learning over time, induction programming, or school improvement structures. It also allows busy professionals to learn on their own schedules. 

The course consists of 12 modules, each taking approximately 1.5 to 2.5 hours to complete online. All course materials are available immediately upon registration. This gives you complete flexibility to work through the content at your own pace, depending on how intensively you wish to engage with the material.

Users can start whenever they gain access, without having to wait for a new cohort. Registrations can be done at any time — you’ll have access to the course 365 days (one whole year) and 24/7. 

Absolutely! The course is currently available in 40+ countries.

Yes, for schools, there is a minimum requirement 10 participants. For smaller groups, you can subscribe individually or contact us to disccuss an alternative arrangement.

To request the course for your school or foundation, simply download the brochure or fill in a form via ‘contact us’ and we will contact you within 2 working days.

Start dates are flexible. However once the course begins, you have access for one full year (365 days). You can complete the course at your own pace within that year.

Your access is valid for one full year. You can take as much or as little time as you like to complete the online course, as long as you finish it within that year.

Yes, you will also receive a reminder before your course access is due for renewal. You can, of course, cancel the renewal if you do not wish to continue after one year.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. The course can only be taken as a whole.

Yes, it is possible to terminate the course early. Please note, however, that no refund will be issued.

Free trials are not available for individual purchases. We invite you to have a look at the preview of the course content to get a better idea of what the course covers.

Yes, you can add additional participants at any point during the year. Please note, however, that their access will not start a new 365-day period; their access will expire at the same time as the original group’s.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. Any new participants will need to be registered separately at an additional fee.

How Teaching & Learning Happens course does not issue certificates of completion.

As a university of applied sciences, we want any certificate we award to reflect a clear and meaningful standard. This programme is designed as a self-paced learning experience to support your personal and professional development. As participation is self-directed, we are unable to formally assess or verify whether the course content has been fully understood and retained. Therefore we do not issue a certificate of completion.
